Measure Your Cervix

NOTE: It is important to choose the correct size for comfort and ease of removal. For instance, if some one with a high cervix uses a mini cup, the cup can go in further, making it more difficult to reach & remove. Alternately, some one with a low cervix using a standard height cup can experience discomfort due to the stem protruding.
- Always wash your hands before inserting anything internally. You can measure your cervix height by inserting a finger into your vaginal canal as far as you can until the tip of your finger reaches your cervix.
- Standard: Whole finger fits or you can't even reach it- Mid: Most but not all of your finger fits- Mini: Half of your finger or under fitsIf you find the stem protrudes or is uncomfortable with any cup, you can cut the stem off (just be sure not to make a hole in the cup).
All fingers and cervices are different, so these are just general guidelines. For more clarification, watch Red Herring's video on finding and measuring your cervix:
If you are uncomfortable with this method or have any questions or concerns, please consult your doctor prior to using an EverCup.
